Coworking Space - Conference Room

Terms and Conditions are subject to change.  If you come across any discrepancies, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Welcome to Gather SD Coworking Space! By renting our Conference Room on an hourly basis, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions:

1. Booking and Payment
1.1 Reservation: Reservations can be made through email or by phone. Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm the reservation. 1.2 Rates: The hourly rate for the conference room is $30 per hour. Special rates may apply for longer durations or repeat customers. Send payments through Zelle at info@GatherHereSD.com (registered as Harold Place LLC) 1.3 Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the reserved time to receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be charged the full rental fee.

2. Usage
2.1 Permitted Use: The conference room is to be used solely for business meetings, workshops, or other professional gatherings. Any other use is prohibited without prior written consent. Private office spaces and reserved desks are not included unless specified otherwise. 2.2 Occupancy: The maximum occupancy for the conference room is 12 people. Exceeding this limit may result in the termination of the rental agreement without a refund. 2.3 Prohibited Activities: Smoking, alcohol, illegal activities, and any behavior that may cause damage to the property or disturb other tenants are strictly prohibited. You are provided access to our high-speed internet connection during your visit. Any misuse of the internet, including illegal downloading or streaming, is strictly prohibited. 2.4 The reservation is scheduled to begin and end at the agreed-upon time. Should the reservation be extended beyond the scheduled end time, the renter agrees to pay overtime charges at the same rate of $30 per hour or part thereof. 

3. Responsibilities
3.1 Care of Facilities & Workspace Etiquette: Renters are expected to leave the conference room in the same condition as it was found. Any damage or excessive cleaning required will result in additional charges. Please respect the workspace and coworkers. Keep noise levels to a minimum, clean up after yourself, and refrain from any behavior that may disrupt others. 3.2 Equipment and Furniture: All provided equipment (e.g., projectors, TV, whiteboards) and furniture must be used appropriately and left in good condition. Renters are responsible for any damage or loss. 3.3 Personal Belongings: The owner is not responsible for any personal belongings left in the conference room. It is the renter's responsibility to ensure all personal items are removed at the end of the rental period.

4. Liability
4.1 Indemnification: The renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the owner from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the renter’s use of the conference room. 4.2 Insurance: Renters are encouraged to obtain their own liability insurance to cover any potential damages or injuries that may occur during the rental period.

5. Termination
5.1 Breach of Terms: The owner reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement immediately if the renter breaches any of these terms and conditions. No refund will be provided in such cases. 5.2 Force Majeure: The owner is not liable for any failure to perform due to causes beyond their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power outages, or other emergencies.

6. General
6.1 Amendments: The owner reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Renters will be notified of any changes before their booking. 6.2 Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of California. Any disputes arising from this agreement will be resolved in the courts of California.

By booking the conference room, the renter agrees to abide by these terms and conditions.

HOUSE RULES

Rules in our coworking space are essential to ensure a harmonious and productive environment for all.
Here's a list of our standard rules:


1. Respect Quiet Zone: The open office is a quiet zone where loud conversations and phone calls are not allowed to maintain a focused working environment.
2. Cleanliness and Hygiene: Members are expected to clean up after themselves, including washing dishes, disposing of trash properly, and keeping their work area tidy to maintain a clean and pleasant workspace for everyone.
3. Respect Personal Space: Be mindful of others' personal space and avoid invading their workstations or disrupting their workflow without permission.
4. Respect Shared Resources: Shared resources such as the printer/scanner, meeting room, kitchen, and restroom facilities should be used responsibly and not monopolized for extended periods.
5. No Unauthorized Guests: Members should not bring in guests without prior approval or purchase of a guest pass, as it may disrupt the workspace and compromise security.
6. Respect Privacy: Avoid eavesdropping on conversations and respect the privacy of others' work and personal interactions.
7. No Solicitation: Members should refrain from engaging in aggressive sales tactics or soliciting other members for business without their consent.
8. Use of Common Areas: Common areas such as the lounge and meeting room should be utilized considerately, ensuring they are available for all members as needed.
9. Internet Usage: Members should use the internet responsibly, avoiding activities that may hog bandwidth or compromise network security.
10. Follow Safety Guidelines: Adhere to safety guidelines such as not blocking emergency exits, reporting any hazards or maintenance issues promptly, and following evacuation procedures in case of emergencies.
11. Respect Working Hours: While coworking spaces may offer flexible hours, members should still be mindful of noise levels and respect others' working hours, especially in shared areas.
12. Pets Policy: Pets are allowed in the coworking space, but please ensure they are well-behaved, cleaned up after, and do not cause disruptions to other members.

13. Non-Discrimination: All members should treat others with respect and refrain from any form of discrimination or harassment based on factors such as race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation.
14. Feedback and Communication: Encourage open communication and provide feedback constructively to the management team to continuously improve the coworking experience for all members.
By utilizing our meeting and/or our coworking space, you agree to abide by these house rules. Failure to comply may result in the suspension of rental privileges.
