Coworking Space - Hot Desk
Terms and Conditions are subject to change. If you come across any discrepancies, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Welcome to Gather SD Coworking Space! By purchasing and using a hot desk, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions:
1. Hot Desk Usage
Gather SD agrees to provide the Client with access to a hot desk (the "Desk") located at Gather SD.
2. Term
This agreement shall commence on the agreed-upon date and shall remain in effect for the agreed-upon duration unless terminated earlier following the terms herein.
3. Access and Use
The Client will be provided with a key or access code for entry, during Gather SD's operating hours, which are Mondays through Fridays from 8 am to 5 pm. The Client agrees to use the Desk only for lawful purposes and in compliance with Gather SD's rules and regulations.
4. Facilities and Services
Gather SD shall provide the Client with access to the following facilities and services:
Internet access
Coffee bar with coffee, tea, and water, fridge & microwave
Printer/Copier ($5 per month, up to 50 pages)
Conference Room with white board and a smart TV
5. Fees and Payment
The Client shall pay a monthly fee for the use of the Desk, payable in advance on the 1st day of each month. Payment shall be made via Zelle to info@GatherHereSD.com (registered as Harold Place LLC). Late payment may result in the suspension or termination of access.
6. Maintenance and Repairs
Gather SD shall be responsible for the maintenance and repairs of the Desk and the surrounding area. The Client shall promptly report any damages or issues to Gather SD management.
7. Conduct
The Client agrees to conduct themselves professionally and to respect the rights of other co-workers. The Client shall not engage in any illegal or disruptive activities within the co-working space.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate this Agreement upon 3 days' written notice to the other party. Upon termination, the Client shall vacate the Desk and return any access cards or keys to GatherSD.
9. Liability
The Client is responsible for the security of their belongings. Gather SD shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage to the Client or their property. The Client agrees to indemnify and hold Gather SD harmless from any claims arising out of the Client's use of the Desk.
10. Amendments
Any amendments to this agreement must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
11. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California.
By booking a dedicated desk, the renter agrees to abide by these terms and conditions.
HOUSE RULES
Rules in our coworking space are essential to ensure a harmonious and productive environment for all.
Here's a list of our standard rules:
1. Respect Quiet Zone: The open office is a quiet zone where loud conversations and phone calls are not allowed to maintain a focused working environment.
2. Cleanliness and Hygiene: Members are expected to clean up after themselves, including washing dishes, disposing of trash properly, and keeping their work area tidy to maintain a clean and pleasant workspace for everyone.
3. Respect Personal Space: Be mindful of others' personal space and avoid invading their workstations or disrupting their workflow without permission.
4. Respect Shared Resources: Shared resources such as the printer/scanner, meeting room, kitchen, and restroom facilities should be used responsibly and not monopolized for extended periods.
5. No Unauthorized Guests: Members should not bring in guests without prior approval or purchase of a guest pass, as it may disrupt the workspace and compromise security.
6. Respect Privacy: Avoid eavesdropping on conversations and respect the privacy of others' work and personal interactions.
7. No Solicitation: Members should refrain from engaging in aggressive sales tactics or soliciting other members for business without their consent.
8. Use of Common Areas: Common areas such as the lounge and meeting room should be utilized considerately, ensuring they are available for all members as needed.
9. Internet Usage: Members should use the internet responsibly, avoiding activities that may hog bandwidth or compromise network security.
10. Follow Safety Guidelines: Adhere to safety guidelines such as not blocking emergency exits, reporting any hazards or maintenance issues promptly, and following evacuation procedures in case of emergencies.
11. Respect Working Hours: While coworking spaces may offer flexible hours, members should still be mindful of noise levels and respect others' working hours, especially in shared areas.
12. Pets Policy: Pets are allowed in the coworking space, but please ensure they are well-behaved, cleaned up after, and do not cause disruptions to other members.
13. Non-Discrimination: All members should treat others with respect and refrain from any form of discrimination or harassment based on factors such as race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation.
14. Feedback and Communication: Encourage open communication and provide feedback constructively to the management team to continuously improve the coworking experience for all members.
By utilizing our meeting and/or our coworking space, you agree to abide by these house rules. Failure to comply may result in the suspension of rental privileges.
